Max Henderson
Founder, CEO
As a former management consultant with a stint at London Business School under his belt, it took Nick (co-founder and childhood friend) many words of gentle encouragement to get Max to his first yoga class. After eventually seeing the benefit for himself, Max who has always been an entrepreneur at heart, became immediately intrigued by the world of yoga. Working with Nick, he soon set about identifying the problems and pinch points in the yoga market that ended up being the foundations to Hotpod Yoga. They went on to launch what is now Europe’s largest yoga business in January 2013. Max leads on all things commercial and strategic, whilst building and supporting an ever-growing team at HQ and across the franchise network.
Nick Higgins
Founder, CPO
Whilst working as a school teacher in London, Nick was introduced to yoga by his physio and he quickly became hooked. Soon after, he completed his 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in Morocco and committed to yoga full-time. Getting to understand the world of yoga first-hand, he then put his entrepreneurial instincts towards setting-up a yoga business with Max (co-founder and childhood friend). Nick created and refined the blueprint to the Hotpod experience, has taught 1000s of classes, launched the company’s YTT school and has developed the team of teachers across London and around the global Hotpod franchise network. Nick leads on all things yoga, combining his grounded and practical approach with his fresh eye for business.
